About our Center
We started this center in 2025 because we saw a gap in support for kids with dyslexia in our community. Families struggled to find answers, schools wanted more resources, and kids were left feeling frustrated and misunderstood. We knew something had to change. So, we created a space where children, parents, and educators could come together to get the help they need—all in one place.
Here, families can access up-to-date information on dyslexia, from diagnosis to intervention strategies, so they can confidently advocate for their child. We've compiled a list of service providers in our area—including literacy coaches, an educational psychologist, and a speech therapist—so families can more easily find the specialized support their children may need. These professionals offer valuable expertise outside the classroom, and many also collaborate with teachers and schools through workshops and training to help create learning environments where students with dyslexia can thrive.
Our goal? To break down the barriers that dyslexia often creates and help kids unlock their full potential. We want them to feel confident, capable, and seen. This isn’t just a resource center—it’s a community, a place where kids, parents, and educators can find real support, real solutions, and real hope.
